Water immersion retort uses the unique liquid flow switching technology to improve the uniformity of temperature inside the retort vessel. Hot water is prepared in advance in the hot water tank to start the sterilization process at high temperature and achieve the fast temperature rising, after sterilization, hot water is recycled and pumped back to hot water tank to achieve the purpose of energy saving.
1. Spiral tube heat exchanger
DTS self studied and produced heat exchanger, inside tube material is stainless steel 316L, no need to replace the rubber gasket, no need maintenance, corrosion resistance, long service life. DTS has patent of it in China.
2.Full automatic linear control system
DTS self-studied patented technology D-TOP system can be sensitive to temperature. It can automatically calculate the pressure changes inside the container according to the temperature. And then automatically adjust the pressure inside the retort to get the pressure balance between container internal and external. So it can prevent the package's deformation, keep the package shape. Especially suitable for aluminum tray products. Pressure was controlled in + / - 0.05 bar with compressed air intake valve and exhaust valve.
3. Double pressure control
Two pressure sensors work at the same time, contrast each other, for real-time monitoring of pressure. When there is a failure, another work automatically, to ensure normal operation of equipment.
4.Heat distribution and Heat penetration (Optional)
Good heat distribution result is the basis of the retort, before using the retort for sterilizing the product, heat distribution must be carried out. And as for the product process, we need to do the heat penetration to find the exact sterilization process instead of cooking too much or less. It means we can find the F0 according to the logger's data. DTS has the loggers to do these tests, we bought from America TMI, we can send engineers for this service.
5.The inner rotating body
Inner rotating body is made of high quality steel, after semi-finishing then welding assembly for relieving of internal stress. Machine center shape it for one time. This can ensure the concentricity between the rotating body and the axis in the rotating process. And then, weight balancing treatment will be done to ensure the weight balance when cage body rotating.
6. Clamping system
Adopted cylinder to clamp the crates, compress part with a guide and springback auxiliary structures to make sure crates receive evenly strength during the rotation process, with advantages of saving manpower, strong compaction, simple operation, easy maintenance and long service life etc.
The retort principle is based on direct steam injection to heat the water in top tank to the pre-set temperature in combination with continuous circulation of process water and with application of compressed air if necessary, this allows minimizing the sterilization temperature without any risk on damage of the container, which results in the shortest process time and thus a better product quality.
Steam is directly injected into the retorts to heat, avoiding steam waste, saving energy.
Compressed air can be applied during the complete processing cycle, it can be programmed in accordance to the process requirements and controlled by pneumatic valves for compressed air inlet and pressure relief to ensure the preset pressure in the retort.
A warning light signals the end of the cycle, when it is over. The door opening is authorized to unload. It is then ready for a new cycle.
During the whole process, the rotating body rotates according to the preset rotate speed. (customer assigns rotate speed )
1. How to install and maintain the machine?
The retort will be tested at the factory, and will try to ship without disassembly. All pipeline have number and identification, as shown in the attached picture. Also, we will provide remote service system, through which our engineers can guide and train in real time.
